Olex attends the Pacific Power Association Annual Conference and Trade Exhibition - 2010

The 19th Annual PPA Conference and Trade Exhibition, was hosted by PNG Power Limited (PPL) and was held in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea for the first time. The event was held from the 5th – 9th of July and offered delegates a range of activities including technical presentations, speeches, a Utility Board workshop and the trade exhibition for suppliers to showcase their products and services.

In addition to the above, the conference also hosted the 5th Engineers Workshop. David Griffiths, Technical Manager – Olex New Zealand, conducted as series of technical presentations to both CEOs and Engineers during the conference.

Each year the conference, which is the largest energy conference in the Pacific region, gains in popularity with an increasing number of participants. This year, Olex was awarded the Best Trade Booth Display of the exhibition.

The venue for 2011 will be in Guam, with the host utility being Guam Power Authority.
