New 2008 Handbook and Industrial Catalogue now available

The 2008 edition of the Olex Handbook & Industrial Catalogue have just been released!

A number of exciting new products are featured in these publications.

New look Handbook

The 2008 Handbook features the following new products:

· The new range of LAN Connectivity products, featuring the LANmark-6, LANmark-7 and essential range. This new group of products cater for three levels of performance, from high-end cable and connectivity solutions through to cost effective solutions for basic installations.

· The new range of Titanex cables (Titanex® H07RN-F Single and Multi-core), which also appear in the new Industrial catalogue.

· The eagerly anticipated Pyrolex Ceramifiable Multi-core and Pyroflex. These cables will be available from the 2nd quarter in 2008.

New Industrial catalogue

In addition to the huge range of cables that were in the previous edition, such as Versolex, Flexolex and Varolex, there are 9 NEW PRODUCTS featured in the 2008 edition.

Further building on Olex’ strong industrial product platform released in 2005, are a range of new products from Nexans. These include:

  • Titanex® H07RN-F Single and Multi-core: Flexible cable for use in installations with moving equipment, electric appliances and for building sites.

  • H07VVH6-F PVCFlat cable: Power and control cables for use on festoon systems on handling equipment.

  • VCVH6-F Screened PVC Flat cable: Power and control cables for use in hoisting control systems in festoons on overhead cranes.

  • Rheyflat®-N Screened and Unscreened Rubber Flat Festoon cables: For use in festoon and handling systems, machine tools, lifts, and e-chain cable carrier systems.

  • Boitalyon® R PVC Pendant Overhead Crane cable: Specially designed for use in remote control overhead cranes from push button boxes.

  • Buflex® X’Prem Reeling cable: With a polyurethane sheath, these cables are specially designed for reeling applications with high mechanical stresses and sever environmental conditions.

  • Rheyhalon: For use in railway vehicles, switching stations and control panels
